We are deeply saddened by the news of John’s passing. I met John in 1988 while stationed at Fort Monmouth, NJ, and our work relationship didn’t take long to flourish into a great friendship. He had an infectious personality and his charisma, professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help others was captivating. I am forever grateful for the influence he had on my military career and life. I will always cherish the memories from our time in and out of uniform – and was blessed to have him as a mentor, the best man at my wedding in 1998, and as a friend. With heartfelt sympathy,
John and Kathy Cage
