Obituary of Yvette D. Brown

Yvette "Debbie/DeBorah" Brown, 72, of Baltimore, MD, passed away unexpectedly on March 27th. Debbie was born on June 27th, 1949 to Blossom Hope and James Johnson in Harlem, New York. After graduating from Theodore High School in Bronx NY, she moved to Seattle, Washington in the late 60's and then Baltimore, MD in the late 80's. She worked at Morgan State University for close to 30 Years. Debbie was a member and loved her New Psalmist Baptist Church and Morgan State families and a host of others. Her love was infectious and if she cared for you, you'd know! She had a passionate flair for style. Her stylishness was her trademark. Her hats said it all! Someone so special to so many will never be forgotten! Debbie was predeceased by her parents, Blossom and James, her husband, Rudy and her sister Jane "Missy". She is survived by her loving sons, Terry and Reggie (Mechelle), her brother Troy, her uncle Myron, her grandchildren, Ta'Shon, Terrence, Trevon and Melanie, and her great grandchildren, Akil and Amerie and many cherished cousins and friends. There will be a celebration of life April 16th 2:30 PM at Vaughn Green Funeral Services, 4905 York Rd, Baltimore, MD. The family kindly request that no flowers be sent.
