Obituary of Shirley L. Barnes

Shirley L. Barnes, age 72, of Edgewood, MD, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 3, 2022. A lifelong resident of Maryland, Mrs. Barnes was born on April 28, 1949. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Barnes had been employed as an administrator for the State of Maryland. She will be missed by her family and friends. She was a great woman of faith. A viewing will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 3:30 - 6:30 pm. The celebration of life will be 11:00 am, February 22, 2022, in the chapel at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services. The wake will begin at 10:30 am. The burial will follow in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Ownings Mills, MD.
