Sometimes people come into your life for a reason. I will always remember Shirley with the warmest thoughts, because through her and five other young adults who met on Washington Street, walked down to Biddle Street to pick up friends, and had a dance we named the Biddle Street Shuffle, we just hung out, listening and dancing to music and had fun. As we grew older, we all took different paths to becoming more mature adults. Those younger days you never get back, but the memories live on. Shirley, Minnie, Barbara, poochie, Jessie and Paul, we all had a good time hanging around the edges, listening to the music, she loved Nancy Wilson, dancing, going to concerts and social life. She is being missed. I offer prayers and comfort for your family.
