Delois Geneva Harris, age 74, the beloved wife of Rev. Alton Harris, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, in Towson, MD. Mrs. Harris was born in Baltimore, MD on December 25, 1946, to Ada and Louis Torbit, Sr. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Harris had worked for Johns Hopkins Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. Most recently, Mrs. Harris was employed as a teacher's assistant at Mt. Pleasant Church and Ministries Christian School.
A viewing will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 3:30 - 6:30 PM.
The homegoing services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, September 24, 2021, at Mt. Pleasant Church and Ministries, 6000 Radecke Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21206. The wake will begin at 10:30 AM.
The burial will follow the services in Arbutus Memorial Park, Baltimore, MD.
