Life and time take away many things, but memories of good times and good persons are something we can keep forever. I had the pleasure of knowing Richard (Big Rich) while playing softball under his management on the Jolly Jacks softball team. Richard was a gentle giant and a great friend to all who came in contact with him. He guided the team to several Maryland state fastball championships, Mid-Atlantic and national notoriety. But beyond that, he was a good person, great friend and our lives are a little less full without him.
