My condolences to your family my brother. I was shocked and upset to hear that you had passed. We had some great memories growing up in Edmondson Village on Allendale St. Bro you were the Ironman when we were growing up. Sometimes Spideman. My brother you were a brilliant brother whom we don't get to see that often. I remember our last conversation last year. Love and going to miss you!!!

Resolution of Respect in Loving Memory of
Nathan A. Chapman, Jr.
Though your days among us were too brief and our grief at your loss is neverending, we draw comfort from the knowledge that you have found safe refuge in the Lord and in our hearts, where no darkness or pain can touch you now. We bless you with love, light and our gratitude.
Whereas, Mr. Nathan A. Chapman, Jr., the son of Uncle Nathan and Aunt Ida (Inez), passed from this life on January 17, 2021 , and
Whereas, the death of Nathan A. Chapman, Jr., does not diminish the profound benediction of a life lived in such Godly service, nor our admiration of and affection for Mr. Nathan A. Chapman, Jr., example of a family man, and
Whereas, Mr. Nathan A. Chapman, Jr., faithfully attended God's most urgent admonition to follow in the footsteps of the righteous, seek justice in all circumstances, and care for the least among us as if they were the dearest, and
Whereas, Mr. Nathan A. Chapman, Jr., was an active member of the Business community for years and freely gave of his time and energy as a leader, mentor, and role model and a faithful member of the various boards and organizations, and
Whereas, as our 1st cousin, he shared a bright, steady spirit and a cheerful heart to all of us, and
Whereas, Mr. Nathan A. Chapman, Sr., our beloved 1st cousin embraced the all-forgiving presence of God from earliest days and strove to exhibit these same qualities of compassion throughout an exemplary life, as a son, man, and role model and
Whereas, Mr. Nathan A. Chapman, Jr., the children of Rev. Dr. William P. and Mrs. Willie Kathleen (Penn) Chapman, Sr., and the grandchildren of Rev. Dr. Napolean & Mrs. Ada (Moton) are deeply saddened at our cousin’s departure, as are all who were touched by his generous spirit and kindnesses, and
Whereas, Mr. Nathan A. Chapman, Jr. legacy of faith and service will continue to inspire loved ones and every member of our family.
Now therefore, be it resolved that we wish all who are now in mourning to take comfort from the immortal words of Matthew 25:21 King James Version 21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Therefore, be it further resolved that we bow to a greater Will than our own and rest in the knowledge that one day we will be united with our cousin again, in joy and in the fullness of God's mercy.
Humbly submitted in Faith and Appreciation for the gift of our time with our cousin, Nathan Jr., on January 27, 2021, by his 1st cousins:
Evangelist Echol Chapman, President of The Napolean & Ada Moton Chapman Institute, Bolingbrook, IL
Mrs. Betty Ann Chapman Moore, Atlanta, GA
Mrs. Margaret Chapman, Calhoun, Tallapoosa, GA

Nathan will live forever in my heart. I will miss our times together at family functions. You were my only male 1st cousin on my dad's side left and since our ages were close, you were like one of my brothers. Rest in heavenly peace!
