As my son remarked to me yesterday “Joe was a class act.”
On the left Joe visited our farm with my mom. On the right Joe is with my brother and sister at a family party for some relatives who live in Australia. Joe was always good company.

Joe was our neighbor in Lochearn. Mom and dad moved to Augsburg in 2000 and Joe remained a a faithful friend until both of them passed. Joe helped mom a lot by giving her rides to church and doctor’s appointments. We considered Joe family and included him in many family celebrations. He was a gentle and kind soul.

I will miss the "Runs" we had together at William Wirt back in the late 70's.
Mr. Conway loved playing basketball and I never missed a chance to play basketball with Mr. Conway.
He was a very thoughtful and caring teacher and he is truly one of my mentors growing up.
He was a great man and to hear that he devoted his retirement years to others only makes sense.
One of the most caring men I ever met.
RIP Mr. Conway, you will never be forgotten.

Thank you for being my science teacher Mr. Conway. I appreciate the time that we shared in the classroom between student and teacher and some of the science that I learned in your classroom I used in the fire service I was a volunteer at the local fire station not too far from the middle school. It is sad to see you go I will catch up sometime. Until we see each other again Mr. Conway take care and God bless.
Sincerely yours,
Pastor David Matthew Duffany of Indianapolis Indiana
