Vaughn Greene Funeral Services is proud to support this year's 53 Families Foundation Thanksgiving Dinner on November 22 at 4pm, held at the Baltimore Convention Center.

For ten consecutive years, The Salvation Army has partnered with Jameel McClain’s 53 Families Foundation to host a Thanksgiving Dinner to help struggling families in Central Maryland. Ravens players help serve the Thanksgiving Style dinner to over 300 families.

Hosted by Jameel and NFL athletes. Families are treated to a night of fun including children’s entertainment, music, and gifts, and are provided a full take-home Thanksgiving Meal including a turkey and all the trimmings.

About Jameel McClain

As a young child, Jameel faced the challenges of many that he serves today. In and out of The Salvation Army shelter and other unstable living circumstances, Jameel adopted “hard work” as his mantra. During the Baltimore Raven’s drive to the Super Bowl, Jameel sustained a spinal cord season-ending injury. He rehabbed back to earn a starting position with the Baltimore Ravens.
