Growing up around the Douglas family was very special . When you were welcomed in their home , it truly was your family and home that’s how ( mom and dad ) made me feel !I loved dad because he was a great father family man and mentor .If you needed advice or support he was there . His smile was warm , his height was intimidating but he was a big teddy bear .
Dad was a gentleman and scholar , The idea dad for any kid that entered his home .I had not seen (dad ) in 26 years , until I reconnected with Tammy and the day I went back to see mom and dad at the very same home I grew up ,as I enter I went in the dining room the their was mom and dad with the biggest smiles and hugs in the world , I was the son who came back home ! Dad will be truly missed !
May he rest in peace , for a job well done !
