Carol and I express our sincere sorrow to his children, sisters, nephews, nieces and friends, yet great joy for we know Darryl no longer suffers and is indeed in a better place. I met Darryl in 2005 in Seoul, South Korea and our friendship continued. He was truly one of a kind. And I often told him, “you are a good man.” Unique he was, beyond measure. I am grateful to God that our paths crossed. May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding abide with you all.
