Obituary of Rev. Andrew Lamont Reed, Sr.

Rev. Andrew Lamont Reed, Sr., age 70, the beloved husband of Shelia Reed, went home to with the Lord on Friday, December 20, 2024. Rev. Reed was born in Lynchburg, VA on June 28, 1954. Rev. Reed had been employed as a drug abuse counselor. He will be missed by his family and friends. A viewing will be held 4:30 pm until 7:00 pm, Friday, January 3, 2025, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2000 E. Belverdere Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21239. The wake will begin at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to Helping Up Missions in the memory of Rev. Andrew Reed, Sr. Should you send a floral arrangement, they are asking for house plants.
