Obituary of Florene Miller

Florene loved life and people. She was always a gracious host. She lived her life sharing herself in service with family and community. This year she fulfilled her desire to live 105 years, passing away peacefully in her home Sunday, November 24, 2024. Florene was actively involved in church, family and community. Over the course of her life, she faithfully volunteered for various organizations, including Meals on Wheels, Provident Hospital Gift Shop Auxiliary, Cahill Recreation Center, Four Winds, Mt. Holly Improvement Association and Enon Baptist Church. She received many accolades and recognition for her volunteerism including being inducted into the Cahill Hall of Fame, Citations and Certificates of Appreciation from three mayors, and the Congressional Lifetime Achievement Award. A viewing for Mrs. Miller will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133. On Monday, December 16, 2024, a homegoing celebration for Mrs. Florene Miller will be held at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with services to follow.
