Kian Randall

Obituary of Kian Brenee Randall

"And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. And the one seated on the throne said… write for these words are faithful and true." Rev. 21:4,5 Kian Brenee' Randall was born November 29, 1984, to Keith and Renako Randall in Baltimore, Md. The youngest of two girls, she loved and doted on her big sister Staci. They were thick as thieves. Kian received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System, graduating from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in 2002. She received the honor of being named the "International Student of The Year" being proficient in Japanese. With a keen interest in engineering, she was privileged to be recruited by several universities – UMES, Temple and Rutgers to name a few. But Kian had already established a relationship with Morgan State University through its various summer engineering programs which she attended each summer starting back when she was in the sixth grade. Thus, being a homebody, it was her decision to continue that relationship and to attend Morgan. Upon completing her education, Kian began her work career with Comcast in a supervisory position. But soon thereafter, she began to experience various health issues. Unable to work a tradition 9 to 5, but determined not to be held back, Kian turned to entrepreneurship. She ventured into promoting, event planning and catering holding events up and down the east coast, Michigan, Illinois and as far west as California. She also was instrumental in launching a successful food truck business. She loved being involved in any venture that was people oriented. Kian had a strong religious background. This contributed to her strong love of family and friends as reflected in her humility, compassion, gratitude and empathy for others. As a young child, Kian enjoyed singing and dancing. Her creative nature led to her favoring modern style dancing, being able to put her personal spin on various routines. This creative style was also evident in her unique cooking skills. She could cook everything! This creativity also carried over into her remodeling and making renovations to her home. She was always looking for the one thing to make others say "Wow." But she probably was most expressive with her style of dress. Head to toe, clothing, hair even down to her nails always had to be Impeccable. Kian was a genuine friend, always wanting the best for her friends. Growing up around "Love", she knew its color and how to give it in return. Kian tried to help her friends with any issue. If they could not get a handle on the situation, she would then say "okay, it's time to go home to Daddy." Their home was a safe haven, a port in the storm, a house of refuge. Their hospitality made you feel at home, welcome and safe. You had a place to stay until things got better. Kian was truly a genuine, loving, caring, and giving young lady with a heart of gold. If you were her friend, you had a friend for life. Kian leaves a legacy of love and precious memories to her parents, Keith and Renako Randall, her devoted sister, Kastacia Dixon (Torian), uncles, Jon Randall (Rhonda), Rev. Tyrome Elliott (Sandra), Charles Jackson. Great Uncles, Amon Carter (Marion), Palestine Elliott Sr. (Mary). Aunts, Sylvia Thornton, Phonecia Jones, Alexandria Randall, Susan Randall, Delores Elliott Perry, Mary R. Elliott, Linda Elliott, Mary Elliott Stanley. Marvella and Kenneth Travis, aunts, Phyllistine Randall, Vanessa Jenkins Sharp, Uncle, Terrence Jenkins. Kian is no longer by our side, but our memories of her will live in our hearts forever.
