Bishop Charles Abraham Jenkins, age 89, the beloved husband of Mary Jenkins, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 8, 2024. A life long resident of Baltimore, MD, Bishop Jenkins was born on January 10, 1935. Before retiring, he had been employed as a steel worker for Bethlehem Steel. He will be missed by his family.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
Homegoing services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 21, 2024 in the chapel at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services. The wake will begin at 10:30 am.
The burial will follow the services in King Memorial Park, Baltimore, MD.
