Obituary of Mathieu Akili Mears

Mr. Mathieu Mears, age 31, transitioned from labor to reward on June 23, 2024. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory: his beloved parents, Charles and Arnella Mears, and devoted sister, Monifa Mears-Lewis. A viewing will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133. On Saturday, July 20, 2024, a homegoing service for Mr. Mathieu Mears will be held at tslamic Society of Baltimore: 6631 Johnnycake Road, in Windsor Mill, MD, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. with prayer services to follow. The interment service will be held at King Memorial Park, 8720 Dogwood Road, immediately following the prayer services. In lieu of flowers, the family of Mathieu Mears requests that donations be made to a memorial scholarship fund in his name to Stevenson University.
