Obituary of Brenda Delores Tyler

Brenda Delores Harris-Tyler the daughter of the late James and Delores Harris, was born on April 4, 1943, in Baltimore Maryland. After a lengthy illness, on March 5,2024 She pass this mortal coil to be with the Lord. She received her education in the Baltimore City School System. At a young age she found the Lord and was Baptize. She attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Turner Station faithfully, under Senior Pastor Elder Rashad A. Singletary, up until her illness. She retired as a Teacher Assistance/Grandmother from the Head Start Program under Union Baptist Church. She also worked at Berger's Bakery, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and held many other jobs throughout her life. On Saturday when she worked at the bakery, she was able to bring home leftover cookies and cakes, to the delight of her brothers and sisters. Brenda and her sister Betty loved to dress alike to attend church. When visiting her sister Dorothy, at the beginning of the block she would start calling out her sister's name to let her know that she had arrived. She loved getting her hair and nails done, shopping and playing the lottery. But most of all She love spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Tyrone Tyler, her siblings, Dorothy Matthews, Betty Inez Smith, Christine Carolyn Wilson, Bruno Harris and her Parents. She leaves to cherish her Brother Bruce Harris, Granddaughter Alayah Walker Williams, Grandson-in-law De'Andre Williams, and Great-Granddaughter Alayah Williams, Brother-in-law William L. Smith Sr, Aunt Jenny Corbin. Her many Nieces mourn her loss: Cynthia Davis, Wanda Tucker, Carolyn Williams, Sura Matthews, and Debrah Matthews Also, her nephews: Darrell H. Matthews Sr, Williams L. Smith Jr, Anton Matthews, Clinton Harris, and a host of Great- Nieces, Great-Nephews, Cousin, and Friends
