Today was a very sad day for me because I found out that my good friend Armstead has passed. back in the 70s 80 we worked together for a clothing manufactures co in NYC. Actually black was my manager and he gave me the opportunity to become the shipping Dept supervisor for the company. for the rest of my life I have used the knowledge that Black thought me in my professional capacity. I could honestly say that the best time of my working life I spend it working alongside him. after losing track with each other for so many years, I decided to search for him on Google and about 2 years ago found his number through google. I remember when I made that called a relative pickup the call and I asked if Armstead black lived there? she question who I was so I told her my name was Orlando and that I worked with him at Raleigh clothes, when he heard my name he pickup the phone and asked is that you Rico? that's what he used to called me. I could tell he was as happy as I was to be speaking with each other after so many years. I remember his last words to me Rico keep in touch. today I went back to google to try to find his number again since I had lost it when I lost my phone, to find the out that my friend has passed. im so sorry we couldn't see each other one more time, but I will always cherish the 8 hours a day we share at work for so many years. you were great human being. Rest in peace
