Prisca Ajue

Obituary of Prisca Ajue

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother, Mrs. Prisca Ajue, affectionately called Blessica and Nana, was born on March 18, 1943, in Bamenda, Cameroon, to Papa Stephen and Mama Lucia Ngang. She was married to Mr. Joseph Forbah who passed away in March 2022. Mama lived in the Northwest and Southwest regions of Cameroon until 2002 when she travelled to Atlanta, GA to help take care of her grandchildren. She moved to Maryland in 2008 and has lived in the Silver Springs and Baltimore areas for the last 15 years. She was a spiritual mother to many and dedicated her life to serving her Lord and Savior and interceding for others. She was a blessing to many, lived a prayer-centered life, but also enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and gardening. Until her diagnosis with breast cancer in 2020, Mama Prisca was a very healthy 77-year-old lady. She did not allow her diagnosis to steal her joy or stop her from pursuing the things of God. She underwent treatment and was in remission until June 2023 when she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. She fought hard for 6 months until December 22, 2023, when she went home to be with the Lord. Mama Prisca will be missed by her sister, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other family and friends. As her family remembers the love and joy Mama Prisca brought into their lives, they invite you to join them in celebrating her life, starting with a viewing on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133, and a Celebration of Life at the Gala Center, 1700 Hill Dr. Windsor Mill, MD 21244 from 8pm-12am.
