Obituary of James Earl Highsmith, Jr.

Mr. James Earl Highsmith, Jr., age 78, transitioned from labor to reward on November 20, 2023. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory: a beloved wife, Carol Highsmith, two devoted sons, a loving stepdaughter, and a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones. A viewing will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, 8728 Liberty Road, Randallstown, MD 21133. On Tuesday, December 5, 2023, a homegoing celebration for Deacon James Highsmith, Jr. will be held at the Concord Baptist Church, 5204 Liberty Heights Avenue, where the family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with servies to follow. The interment service will be held at the Arbutus Memorial Park immediately following the services.
