Obituary of Patsy Purnel Morten

Patsy Pumel Morten was in Pensacola, Florida on February 1, 1945. "Pat" as she wanted to be called, was the fourth eldest daughter of six girls born to Purnell and Mary Gladys Winder. At the age of two, her family moved back to Baltimore, Maryland were she attended school in the Baltimore Maryland School District. Pat loved domestic work, cooking, sewing, and caring for children. Her love for childcare led her to embracing two small twin boys, Kevin and Keith who she raised as her own. Pat later married Richard Holland with whom she had her first daughter Felicia "Lisa" and became a bonus mom to Terry Holland and the late Sheila Duncan. Pat later moved to Darby, PA to be with her family and worked until she decided to relocate back to Baltimore where she had her second daughter, Fem, and cared for her family. Pat continued her love to care for others and went on to be a Private Duty Nurse to the mother of the top State's Attorney of Maryland. Later in life Pat spent 26 loving years with the late James McKiver. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Purnell and Mary Gladys Winder; her sisters, Elaine Sellers and Phyllis Wilson; and her granddaughter, Destiny Carter. She leaves to mourn two daughters, Felicia "Lisa" Holland and Fem Holland; three sisters, Doris Northern, Jeannette Height, Rita Freeman; and six grandchildren, Tanika Culbreath, Telisha Wallace, Anthony Deanda, Colin James Holland-Bollin and Ronnie Moore.
