I have so many fond memories of working with Cynthia. Her infectious laugh, the sparkle in her eye, her dedication to helping those we served. She made everything look effortless even when I know it wasn't. We bonded over our love of nice shoes, handbags, and party planning. Cynthia was a larger than life presence at BHA. I'm so grateful to have called her my friend. Rest easy.

I met Cynthia when she first came to MHA many years ago. We became friends right away, on the job and in our personal lives. Our daughters Shanice and Jasmine would come to work with us on "Bring your daughters to work" day and they were excited to do some office work (mostly have fun). We often spoke about the girls as they grew up and had their own families. We would share stories of our grandbabies and talk the time away. Oh, how she loved her grandbabies!!!
I could always confide in Cynthia. I will miss her dearly, but will never forget her spirit, kindness and friendship.

Cynthia was a special colleague at the Behavioral Health Administration. She was dedicated to improving the lives of persons with mental illness. She brought warmth and caring to the workplace. She was a leader and a contributor. She made us all better in our work and as people. We loved her and we are saddened by losing her but celebrate her wonderful life.
