Mrs. Mattie Spencer, of Baltimore, MD, transitioned on Monday, September 18th, 2023, in Baltimore, MD. Ms. Spencer was born on April 13, 1938 in Mullins, SC On Thursday, October 5, the viewing for Mrs. Spencer will be held at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services, 5151 Baltimore National Pike, Baltimore, MD 21229, where family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. On Friday, October 6, 2023, services for Mrs. Spencer will be held at Rising Sun First Baptist Church, 2211 St. Lukes Lane, Gwynn Oak, MD 21207 (410-944-4470), where family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:30 AM with services to follow. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the American Heart Association in honor of Ms.Spencer. The internment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, 2130 Woodlawn Drive, Baltimore, MD 21207.
