My sympathies at the loss of my Beltsville Agricultural Research Center colleague.
George helped me oversee several laboratory projects and gave me advice on many others. I will miss his expertise and his friendship.
I'll always remember listening to George fondly talk of his family and the importance of his church.
We have all lost a dedicated fried and colleague.

To the Family of George Ford,
This is a hard one to accept. I worked with George for years at the USDA. He was always right there, always just turning a corner and the perfect gentleman who would pay for lunch. He supported me by coming to one of my performances. And provided spiritual support by praying with me over the phone when I broke my ankle and was going thru depression. The last time I saw George was at a funeral for a friend of mine. He didn’t know her personally but was helping out with the video streaming equipment for the church. He gave the best hug. Little did I know within years time I would be called back to that church to celebrate his life. George I will miss you. But knowing your faith you would probably say “it’s ok all is well with me…no big deal” Thank you making my job a little easier and for being a spiritual guide by teaching me how to pray. I won’t ever forget that. Rene Edwards

Hi My Love, how are you there? For sure you are happy. Going through the pain of losing you, it's a pain i can’t bear, i always had your love, with you that i could share So many memories that flash through my mind of all those precious moments and beautiful times. I couldn't understand why God allow tgis to happened??? But one thing is for sure He has a better plan for us. I will always treasure our lessons that you taught me,
Overwhelming gratitude for all good things you did to me during the 8 years We were fortunate to share. For how the richness of your heart for GOD, your mind, your knowledge, your love, your life experiences filled me with profound joy, no matter what hard times and heart break we may have had to go through. I am far from perfect but you know how much I loved you. I will always look at you as my husband. Please do guide me to fulfill our dreams and my calling My love. I want you to be proud me.
Our favorite verses and hymn we used to sang before we start our daily routine 3am bible study, this verses that you taught me I'm holding on to keep me going.
