My name is Ayo' Fadeyi. On behalf of the Great Abepe Choir of Baptist High School, Ede, please accept our heartfelt sympathy and sincere condolences on the death of our dearly departed Choir Master and English Teacher, Deacon Peter Adewale Ebo. Mr Ebo was a great Choir Master, Song Writer, Composer, Pianist, and Music Director who used his skills in music to greatly evangelize and promote the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our time in Abepe was very meaningful and memorable because of the School Choir activities and performances planned and coordinated by Mr. Peter Adewale Ebo, whom we all fondly called Master. Abepe Choir was widely acclaimed, very popular, well respected and greatly admired in those days, thanks to his leadership and creativity. Mr. Ebo was like a father and big uncle to us. While we had a great social life and traveled widely for Choir performances, competitions, excursions and other engagements, he ensured we maintained good grades and that the Choir activities did not negatively impact our academic performance. We stayed connected with him over the years because of the positive and meaningful impact he had on our lives. Just this year, the Abepe Choir members all over the world got together to compose a special rendition for his 80th birthday. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to present. Dear Mr. Ebo, we know you have joined the heavenly choir now, and that you are singing and probably directing the music in heaven, we trust you will do this well. We thank you for all you did for us, we will continue to sing the songs you taught us and play the music here on earth. Yes, the music will linger on, and your memory will forever live in our hearts. May God watch over your dear beautiful wife and your son Yinka, and uphold the entire community of love that you left behind. May you rest in peace, and in power and glory. Adieu Master!
