Obituary of Portia Janet Owens

Portia Janet Owens, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2023. Mrs. Owens was born on August 1, 1943, to Phyllis and Parker Porter in Baltimore, MD. Mrs. Owens had been employed as a dietician. She will be missed by her family and friends. A viewing will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Shiloh Baptist Church of Edgemere, 2499 Sycamore Avenue, Edgemere, MD 21219, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am, Friday, September 15, 2023, at Shiloh Baptist Church of Edgemere. The wake will begin at 10:30 am. The burial will follow the services in Holly Hills Memorial Gardens, Baltimore, MD.
