Obituary of Nannie Modell Quarles Jones

Nannie Modell Quarles Jones, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Mrs. Jones was born on September 27, 1940, to Vernell and Wilson Quarles in Hopewell, VA. Mrs. Jones had been employed as a teacher for the Baltimore City Public School System. She was very active in her church. She will be missed by her family and friends. A viewing will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, July 7, 2023, at St. Paul Baptist Church, 3101 The Alameda, Baltimore, MD 21218. The wake will begin at 10:30 am. The burial will follow the services in Gardens of Faith Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
