Obituary of Charles M. Thomas, Sr.

Charles M. Thomas, Sr., age 75, the beloved husband of Claudette Thomas, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 9, 2023. Mr. Thomas was born on January 23, 1948, to Willie Bell and Rev. Prentis Thomas in Tatum, South Carolina. Before retiring, Mr. Thomas worked as a truck driver for E. Stewart Mitchell Asphalt Company. Mr. Thomas was a loving and caring man. In his past time, he loved to watch Western television shows. He will be missed by his family and friends. As the family remembers the love, joy and laughter he brought into their lives, they invite you to attend a viewing on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm. The funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, June 23, 2023, at St. Paul Peace and Harmony Freewill Baptist Church, 406 E. 23rd Street, Baltimore, MD 21218. The wake will begin at 10:30 am. The burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Memorial Park, Baltimore, MD.
