My prayers and deepest condolences to Figi's family. I was so saddened to become aware of his passing. As a hand-dancer w/the DCHand-Dance Club of the DMV, knew and danced with Figi for many years, many times. What a pleasure to dance with--and know--Figgy. So talented and always happily sharing his expertise with others. He will be greatly missed for many reasons. I'm happy he is now in God's Hands and in Heaven and I'll see him again. Rose Manriquez

Good Morning FB family & friends, please continue to keep Dj Figgy family and friends in your prayers.
I find it tougher each day to say good bye to loveones, family and friends. Figgy was all of that to me and his dance community. He did his due diligence staying engaged as one of our TOP Dj's in the DMV. He was well versed as an instructor in teaching Hand Dance in the Baltimore area, as well as amazing partner when it came down to Hand Dance, Bop, Line Dance or Free Style dancing! Let's us also remember his competitive spirit when it came down to Dance Competitions, Dance offs and/or preparing his troupe team for competition; the brother was BAD!
Figgy worked hard on giving you or anyone 100% of his Time or Talent. Just to name a few great memories such as his annual Country Western events, his Black Tie Affairs or his social held at the Promenade in Balitmore. Figgy would also come down to Woodbridge for our All White Party at Silky Smooth Dance Studio, bring a bus load of his dance family and dj'ed to a packed house until we dropped. He was apart of the team that helped kicked off Spectacular Sundays as well as the DMV Shades of Blue & Gold Dance Extravaganza.The brother was Phenomenal as we know him.
Lord knows Dj Figgy will be missed for sure; however we have to remember that we will see him again on the day of Resurrection.
So rest in peace Figgy!

My sincere condolences to the family. FIGGY was a positive mainstay in our community. His attitude and behavior was a positive influence on many. I personally want to thank his family for allowing so many of us the opportunity to listen and enjoy his ability to entertain large groups with his music and with out question, his dancing.
