Obituary of James Michael C. McKoy

James Michael C.McKoy, age 52, departed this life on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Mr. McKoy was born in Columbus County, NC on July 22, 1970 to Geraldine McKoy and James Carlton Cromartie. Mr. McKoy was employed as a home improvement specialist. The family's memory of Mr. McKoy was his repeated playing of the song "Take Me to the King" days before his transition. Mr. McKoy will be missed by his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held Noon, Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in the chapel at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212. The wake will begin at 11:00 am. The burial will follow in Parkwood Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
