Obituary of Tavone Calvin Cotten

Tavone Calvin Cotten son of Sherron Parker and The late Calvin Cotten born on December 3,1975 and passed away suddenly on March 5,2023. Born in Baltimore,Maryland Tavone attended Baltimore City Public Schools, he would later join Job Core were he received his G.E.D. Tavone worked several jobs before becoming a Deli Clerk for Giant Food Market. Tavone was an dedicated father to 3 sons Terell,Tyone,and Taj and amazing son. After his father became ill,Tavone moved in with his dad and took over his care until his father passed away last year. Tavone often enjoyed spending time with his mother and stepfather Sherron & William Parker Sr as well as younger brother William Parker Jr. (Will) as he called him. They would ofter go out to dinner,movies and shop together. Tavone will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him. Tavone leaves to cherish his memory mother Sherron Parker stepfather William Parker Sr. Sons Terell Cotten,Tyrone Cotten,Taj Cotten. Sister Latoyia Mclean, Brother William Parker Jr. Niece Khayla Johnson, Nephews Jordan Key,Brian Key,Ethan Key, Uncle Melvin Pratt, Aunt Debra Drew, Cousins Jonathan Drew and Jordan Drew, God Mother, Mary Drew Preceding Tavone in death were his Father Calvin D.Cotten , Grand mother Ida B. Bradford, Uncle Johnnie Drew. Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral services 3:00 pm, Thursday, March 16, 2023, in the chapel at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212. The wake will begin at 2:00 pm.
