Obituary of Irma Donaldson

Irma Donaldson, daughter of the late Reverend James and Virgie A. Donaldson was born in Baltimore, Maryland, October 7,1949. She received her education in Baltimore City Public School System. She graduated from Dunbar Senior High in 1967. She was called to glory December 30, 2022. Early in life, she confessed the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour. She was a member of Nazarene Baptist Church led by Rev. W.A Hall, before the family joined the congregation at Little Ark Baptist Church under the leadership of Matthew Marcus Sr in 1960. She was proceeded in death by six siblings James Donaldson Jr., Jerome Donaldson, Rev. Samuel Donaldson, Leon Donaldson, Deaconess Audrey Donaldson Lyons. She attended the Ceta Program after high school where she studied to became a keypunch operator. She was immediately employed at Equitable Trust Bank she later found employment at BG&E where she worked for thirty years. Her last office of employment was the Baltimore City Police Department. She enjoyed listening to music and attending Broadway Shows. She leaves to cherish her memory two siblings Patricia Hines and Arthur Donaldson. Her brother-in-law, Samuel Lyons, sister-in-law Betty Donaldson and a copious number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.
