I will always have a special place in my heart for Dr. Hales. He hired me at Leith Walk Elementary School in 1992. I worked with him for several years, and he helped me to grow professionally and personally. He was supportive and kind His love for Baltimore and children was unending. Dr. Hales touched so many lives. His family is in my thoughts and prayers. My sincere condolences to all.
