Obituary of Joseph Leon Simmons, Jr.

Joseph Leon Simmons, Jr., age 67, departed this life on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Mr. Simmons was born on September 5, 1955 in Baltimore, MD to Dorothy and Joseph Leon Simmons, Sr. Mr. Simmons had been employed as a transporter for Greater Baltimore Medical Center. He was previously employed at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. He will be missed by his family and friends. The funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, January 12, 2023 in the chapel at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212. The wake will begin at 10:30 am. The burial will follow the services in Parkwood Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
