Obituary of Lawrence Jacob Pully

Lawrence Jacob Pully, also known as "Sonny", was born on January 18, 1938 in Baltimore, MD. Lawrence was the son of the late Lawrence F. Pully and Beatrice L. Pully. Lawrence departed this earthly life on December 11, 2022. After two decades of service, Lawrence retired as an E6 in the United States Navy. With over four decades of service, Lawrence then retired from the Baltimore City Fire Department, as a Shift Commander. He was a humble man, a loyal friend and an exceptional father of two sons. Lawrence is preceded in death by his oldest son, Lawrence (Kevin) Pully. Lawrence leaves behind to mourn his youngest son, Brandon D. Pully; granddaughter, Giavanna L. Pully; cousins, James, Jimmy and Justin Owens; special lifetime friend, Barbara Jones, who loved and cared for him in his final years; as well as, a host of other friends and extended family. Funeral rites will be conducted through Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - EAST (4905 York Rd. 21212). The public viewing will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, 3:30 - 6:30 PM. The wake will be Friday, December 30, 2022, 10:30 - 11:00 AM with funeral ceremony to follow. The interment will take place at Arbutus Memorial Park.
