My Special Uncle Dad,
MORE MEMORIES THAN I CAN SHARE: I will miss the conversations we often had on your front porch while the warm sunshine kept you comfortable. Sometimes we would just sit in your living room talking or looking at pictures or videos from the past and present. I remember your mom would often say that you would live a long life because of the kindness and respect you showed to your elders. She was right, your life was long and full of happy times for you and Lovie. We all loved the times when you came to NC because we knew we’d hear some funny stories and get to visit family members not otherwise seen. You influenced my life, my career and taught me to always keep my shoes shined. Those moments and so many other memories will always be with me. I love you and thank you for simply being you.
