Obituary of Lewis Thomas Battle

Lewis Thomas Battle, age 86, the beloved husband of Mary E. Battle, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 30, 2022. Mr. Battle was born in Louisburg, North Carolina to Hattie and Robert Battle on January 26, 1936. Mr. Battle had been employed as a fork lift operator for Shasta Soda Company. Mr. Battle will be missed by his family and friends.

A viewing will be held Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212, from 3:00 - 6:30 pm.

Homegoing services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, November 11, 2022, at Israel Baptist Church, 1200 N. Washington Street, Baltimore, MD 21213. The wake will begin at 10:30 am.

The burial will follow the services in Moreland Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
