I’m sending my deepest sympathy to Michelle’s family. This pain is very deep for me. She was my friend, co-worker, spiritual sister and family. I have known her since the early 80’s when she, Al and I worked together at FBI. I also had the privilege to be in their wedding. We had so many laughs and deep talks together. She will be truly missed and always have a place in my heart. I have comfort in the same hope that both Shelley and Al had in Jesus’s promise of the “resurrection” were they will have a chance to live on earth again in perfect mind and health. (John 5:28-29). Until that time, I will continue to pray for inner peace for the family.

I met Michelle in 2005 when I went over to 620 Fallsway to work for Balto City's Dept. Of Transportation. She came to me w/ that pleasant smile of hers introducing herself as Ms. Washington. We went on to tranfer over to another building where she had become Supervisor for another section. Michelle you will surely be missed.

Shelly, when I was told the horrible news that you were gone, my heart shattered! I am broken, I am hurt beyond words and I am completely filled with grief. The thought that I will never see you again is debilitating. How can this be?? You would always tell me that you were my biggest fan. Well, my biggest fan is now gone, which makes it difficult for the show to go on. If only I could hug you again, laugh with you again or share ideas with you again, then the sting of your absence would be bearable. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I am in anguish over you being gone. This really hurts! I Love You Shelly, my FABULOUS sister! I will enjoy the memories of you forever!
