Obituary of Markus Anthony Baylor

On Saturday, September 24, 2022, Markus Anthony Baylor, a beloved husband, son, and brother passed away at the age of 46. Born to Barbara Turner and Michael Eugene Baylor in Baltimore, Maryland, he spent his childhood in Baltimore City and Baltimore County, where he enjoyed time with his treasured siblings Kimberley, Micheal Jr., Marvin, and Katrina. He later attended Crown College in Powell, Tennessee, majoring in Church Ministries. He returned to Baltimore, Maryland after college and began working in the hospitality industry. He was once named in the Washington Herald Times for his excellent service at The All American Steakhouse & Sports Theater. While working at The Capital Grille, he met Lizbeth, a fellow server, who became his cherished wife. They were together for over eight years. Markus loved to play and teach tennis to anyone who would like to try. He was extremely competitive—even with his wife. He loved music. Some of his favorite artists were Pearl Jam, Wu-Tang Clan, Incubus, Third Eye Blind, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Purity Ring, and Hyper Crush. He enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows Transformers, Rick and Morty, and Star Wars. He was also an avid follower of the UFC and loved playing video games. Markus was loved by all. Those close to him would describe him as the chillest, kindest, most happy-go-lucky person on this Earth—the kind of man who'd give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He is survived by his wife Lizbeth; dear pets Lucy (his dog) and Dulce (his cat); his parents Barbara Turner and Michael Eugene Baylor; his siblings Kimberley Liberatore, Michael Baylor Jr., Marvin Carey, and Katrina Benson; his Nieces Alyssa Liberatore, Addison Liberatore, Olivia Liberatore, Amanda Cooper, Mykala Baylor, and Gabriella Benson; his nephews Michael Baylor the 3rd, Jon Blanchard, Aaron McNeal, Aaron Aguilera, Lucas Aguilera, Franklin Aguilera, and Omar "Junior" Vargas; his in-laws Hilda Aguilera, Wendy Tennis Baylor, Bret Liberatore, Ryan Benson, Abraham Aguilera, Diana Gonzales, Christina Aguilera, and Omar Vargas; his great nieces and nephews Oaklee McNeal, Aydin McNeal, Dylan McNeal, and Elena Blanchard as well as a host of cousins, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances who will miss him dearly.
