Obituary of Theresa A. Robinson

Rev. Theresa A. Robinson, age 66, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 16, 2022. Rev. Robinson is the daughter of the late Mary and Ambrose Robinson. A native of Baltimore, MD, Rev. Robinson received her Bachelor degree in Religious Studies from Morgan State University and her Master of Divinity degree from Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, D.C. Rev. Robinson served in various capacities within the Baltimore-Washinton Conference of the United Methodist Church. Most recently, she served as the senior pastor of the St. Matthews United Methodist Church in Shady Side, MD. A mother of two sons. Her life motto was :Never throw in the towel when you feel defeated. Never give up when your vision becomes dim; never bow to the obstacles of life. But forever lean and depend on God, and He will bring, carry and see you through." Rev. Robinson will be missed by her family and friends. A viewing will be held Friday, September 30, 2022, at Christian Love Baptist Church, 4198 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Homegoing services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Christian Love Baptist Church. The wake will begin at 10:00 am. The burial will follow in Arbutus Memorial Park, Baltimore, MD.
