I just heard that Andre Adams passed away. Ironically, I was thinking about him recently and the fun filled music practices we both experienced in the Elementary school band at Elmer A Henderson school # 101 during the 1950s and 1960s.
Andre played trumpet and I played violin in the school instrumental music program. Mr. Stone was our music teacher and band leader.
Andre had a great sense of humor and a warm friendly smile on his face always, it seemed. He was a good friend who was always happy and smiling, it seemed.
Its been a long time but I think we also participated in the Clifton Park junior high school instrumental program.
I remember that Andre lived with his parents and a younger brother across the street from the Elementary school #101.
We knew each other's families and admired them with great respect. Our mothers volunteered with the Elementary school PTA Association. Mrs. Adams, his mother, might have been the president during that time.
Rest in peace my old friend and know that you are remembered and appreciated for your talents and good will towards others in the community. I will always remember you with a smile on my face because you transmitted happiness and the joy of life with a real sense of humor and a friendly, unforgetable laugh.

Rest in paradise Uncle Andre. Cookouts at your house were some of my favorite memories as a kid. I remember you teaching us how to fish and I wish I asked to go with you more often. You were so funny, I still laugh thinking about all the crazy things youd say. We were so lucky to have you in our lives. You will be missed.

R.I.P. to my favorite grand uncle. He was a real one. I don’t know how many times I banged my head going down the stairs to chill in the basement with all the cuzzos watching the big screen back in the day during cookouts but I wish I’d done it more lol.
I don’t usually drink but I’m definitely pouring one for you! Oh, and condolences to aunt Dashawn(I’m guessing the spelling on these), Dijon, and Woodah(I’m still not sure if that’s your actual name man lol)
