Obituary of Patricia Ann Bishop

The world lost a beloved mother, Patricia "Ms. Pat" Ann Bishop, passed from this life into eternal life on August11, 2022, she was 85 years old. Ms. Pat was born in at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD on January 24,1937. Ms. Pat learned everything she knew from her loving parents Phyllis Madden and William Henry "Bill"Clark. Ms. Pat married her longtime friend and love William L. Bishop who preceded her in death, December 30,1994. Ms. Pat was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and community. She graduation in 1955 from Carver High school in Towson, MD. She retired from College Manor, Lutherville, MD as a nurse where she spent most of her working life until she retired in 2002. Ms. Pat's colleagues knew her as a kind soul, always willing to cheer up patients with her love, compassion, it suited her servant's heart. Ms. Pat said she did it because of her belief of "Do what is right and do what is good. Be kind and help others." All whom loved her dearly will never forget her determination, humor, charm, grace, and undying love and caring for everyone. Grandma Patti treasured her children and grandchildren by embracing every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Mother, Grandma and Mother-in-law. Whether it was Grandma Patty, Ms. Pat, or Patty, she had a cheerful personality and always made family and friends around her laugh. That sparkling smile and who could not forget her lively laugh, which is remembered by everyone because whether it was Ms. Pat, Grandma Patty and just Patty she had that special ability to make others laugh with the sound of her laughter and to see the humor in what she saw. Ms. Pat made friends everywhere she went, most of all she loved her family and instilled in her sons' and grandchildren strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Ms. Pat's life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 — "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ." Ms. Pat is survived by one son, Mark (Keisha), her daughter-in-law Liz, her grandchildren, Shawn, Jessica, Jason, Mark Jr., Delano, Joshua, great grandchildren, two brothers, John Ellsworth Clark, and William Harmon "Willie" Clark, one sister, Phyllis Beatrice "Dottie" Clark, extended family Lisa Whye and Barbara Greene as well as a host of friends. cousins, nieces, nephews. Ms. Pat was preceded in death by her parents Phyllis Madden and William Clark, her husband William L. Bishop, one son William Bishop, two brothers Arthur Henry Clark and Harry Dewayne Clark, two sisters, Mamie Ardella Clark, and Virginia Esther "Toddie" Graham. On Thursday, August 18, 2022, a homegoing celebration for Mrs. Bishop will be held at the Vaughn Greene Chapel at Randallstown, 8728 Liberty Road, where the family will recieve friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with services to follow. The interment services will take place on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the Parkwood Cemetery, where Mrs. Bishop will be laid to rest with her late husband, Mr. William Bishop.
