Frat, You did your best in this life we know, made your trip on this rugged road, you gave your all when called upon, I've seen you grow from a young man to elder, and through it all, the light around you may have dimmed, but even when it flickered it never burnt out because you were in the fight to gain what's right, now take your rest amongst the best who stood straight up after each fall knowing that's the only way our race will stand tall.

I worked with Armstead for over 15 years and during that time we became friends. He would always welcome you with a smile no matter what he was going through. He was always willing to help and advise you when needed. We didn't see each other often, but when we did it was like no time had passed. He will surely be missed. Rest in power my brother.

I worked with Armstead when we both were employed at MCI-J for the Maryland Division of Corrections. Our working turned into a personal and lasting friendship. Wherever and whenever we saw each other, we always shared some type of laugh or joke with each other. I.will truly miss my friend. Rest In Peace, my brother. I can only hope that when I transition from this life to the other side that I will one day see my friend again. Flurry
