Obituary of Palmetta Parker

Palmetta Rasberry Parker, age 100, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 22, 2022 after a life well. Mrs. Parker was affectionately known as Pal. She was born in Craven County, NC to Mamie Chatman and Boss Henry Rasberry on June 11, 1921. Mrs. Parker lived a journey of a hundred years, leaving a long line of memories that will live forever. A pillar of gold, Mrs. Parker would greet you wih a warm smile and a loving hug. Keep in mind, if correction was needed, she did not hesitate. Mrs. Parker was an excellent cook and affectionarely enjoyed baking cakes, pies, and pasties (from scratch), preparing meals for her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, sewing, uphostery, and most of all spending quality time with her love ones. She will be greatly missed. A hundred Chapters of so many memories to ever be forgotten. A viewing will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services - East, 4905 York Road, Baltimore, MD 21212 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. A celebration of life will be held 2:30 pm, Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the chapel at Vaughn Greene Funeral Services. The wake will begin at 2:00 pm. The burial will be 11:00 am, Monday, May 9, 2022 in Baltimore National Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.
