It is with a very broken heart as I type this to my family. Ma Denise we may not have talked everyday like we did prior to me moving to NC, but when we did it was love shared and you continued to give me encouragement to be the best that i could always. Ma taught me everything I know about being a great beautician. Ma gave me my first job as a shampoo girl because i love to do hair and i am forever grateful. Ma took me into her home and cared for me as i worked in Baltimore after college. Ma took care of me during that time when i was pregnant with so many complications carrying Tiras Ma was at Mercy hospital when i delivered him knowing that my mother could not be there. Chanel, Keisha and Teon i love yall and i can go on and on typing. I want to say thank you so much for sharing your mothers love with me throughout the years. Dad Wayne i love you and you shared just as much love for me as your Adopted Daughter( this is what Ma Denise called me). I've temporarily lost a huge part of my heart losing Ma Denise, but rest assure Ma we shall see each other again. With a shattered heart,

Sister Denise Sheba Jenkins
I truly love my sister, lovingly called, "Niecey"! My sister showed me all about elegance, grace, and beauty. I admired her gifts as a beautician and stylist. Niecy helped me through my adolescent years and kept me encouraged through my adult years.
I loved her smile and laughter!
One specific time I remember the most is how she and Dwayne flew to Columbus, Ohio when my son Devin died. I am truly grateful for the love they always displayed.
In March, 2022 Jessica and I talked to Niecy on the phone and told her we loved her always!
The way I can give my love, tribute and honor to my sister-Denise is by writing this for Chanel, Tyon and Keisha and her grandchildren she loved so much. Praying for All of the family and wish we could give you hugs right now!
Here is our song that we sang together when I stayed with her after Devin passing.
