On behalf of the Jordan family, we would like to extend our condolences to the Ross family. Joe and my family lived in the same neighborhood and we attended the same middle and Junior High Schools. Joe was a great guy always displaying that beautiful smile. It is always difficult to say goodbye to the one you love but the word of God tells us that Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Trust God and he will strengthen you and give you joy as you mourn the loss of Joe. As you celebrate him remember the legacy he leaves for your family. Joe was my brother from another mother. Family isn’t just a connection fro blood and you were proof of that. I thank God for blessing and connecting our families when I was a teenager. We have many fond memories of our times at Tech that we spent with Joe. He was a great classmate. In particular, Fred would like to thank Joe for taking time to visit him during his health challenges. Joe travelled from Baltimore to Bowie to check on his friend from Tech. and DC Teachers college. I remember Sunday coffees, late night pinochle games,you picking up James, Logan and myself when my car broke down, the cookouts...I remember the family's friend, Casaundra's husband and Courtney's father.
