I’m just learning of the passing of Mrs. Zachary. She was my first grade teacher in 1994/1995. I no longer remember the things she said to me but I’ll always remember how she made me feel. In her care, I was safe, capable and loved. She’s the reason I am a PreK teacher today. I’ll continue to think of her often.
