Obituary of Ryan Lee Coles

Ryan Lee Coles, affectionately known as "Apple", was born on April 25, 1975, in Baltimore, Maryland to Phyllis Ann Coles-Carrington and the late Barry Carrington. He fell asleep in death after a relentless battle with cancer on February 10, 2022. He received his education from Forrest Park High School. While in high school he aspired to play football, but his dreams led him to driving trucks. Apple spent his childhood playing and having a good time with his brothers Reginald and Rudy, a bond that was only severed by death. There was never a day that went by that Apple didn't miss and long to be with his brothers. He grew up with a deep love for music and cars. He was an avid Dominoes and Madden player known to talk a little trash here and there. If he wasn't watching the Indianapolis Colts play, then you would more than likely find him cooking on the grill with a glass of his favorite Hennessy or breaking out his dance moves while playing house music on his DJ equipment. He was a very supportive father, who loved all his children so much. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his children or grandchildren. Apple was a good man, with an infectious smile and memorable laugh, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a fighter and although in the end he lost the battle, he made sure that not a day went by that he didn't give cancer a run for its money. Apple fell in love and married the love of his life, Kristen Lewis on October 4, 2019, and together they enjoyed 2 years of endurance, laughter and love. The two love birds were inseparable, whether it was tearful mornings or painful long nights at the hospital not even cancer could keep the two of them apart. To cherish his memory, he leaves: his loving wife, Kristen Coles; five daughters, Alexiss Pierce, Blair, Ryan, Heaven and Minglee Coles; three sons, Kasean and Darius Coles and Dillon Matthews; three grandsons, Aiden, Kasean Jr. and Darius Jr.; mother, Phyllis Ann Carrington-Coles; grandmother, Stella Grate; mother-in-law, Karen Lewis; and a huge host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, in-laws and many close friends.
