It saddened me to hear of James’ passing. He was a kind neighbor and looked out for everybody. While I was overseas for 2.5 years he would periodically check on my son (who was living in our house by himself). Another act of his kindness occurred when a huge tree fell across my driveway; James cut out the tree, so that I could drive down the driveway. He said “I know how you’re always going. So I cut out the center for you!”
James and I talked about improving the “curb appeal” of our houses. We had plans of clearing out the old shrub and planting new plants this year. As I work on my property, I will remember his kind heart and sweet spirit.
Patricia, I am sorry for your loss. I know you have a void that leaves your heart aching. I pray the ache and sorrow will pass soon. Remember the good times and his kind smile.

Bunk as he is affectionately known was a quiet, dependable and kind person even as a child growing up. I coached him in basketball and he was a very strong player. Bunk always supported our family going out of his way to help even when he was busy with work. I will miss My friend and cousin but will remember him as an all around good guy. He will remain in my heart forever. I love you Cuz. Tony Boyce

To My sister Pat from day one James has always excepted me as a little sister embrace me in supporting you as you support me and And I'm truly grateful to have had such a big brother in my life loving me because you love me being there for me because you were there for me. As the years went on we weren't always tight as we once were but I know that you guys were always there for me if I ever needed you always praying for me and encouraging me.
