My sincere condolences to the family. After 15 years working for Roland, who was the program manager of the Radiological Health Program at the Maryland Department of the Environment, I was his assistant. He was a fair, supportive and a mentor. He was a generous man, especially to an intern and to his administrative staff on special holidays. He would also bring cookies and donuts to the program because he wanted to. Roland was very supportive to me when I lost my husband. He was an excellent supervisor. He knew many at the Department and was well liked. He will be missed. Rest in peace Roland. Bonnie
